Rodney Geer

Rodney Geer has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry with extensive experience in the management of both underwriting and claims. He first commenced with Hospitality Employers Mutual in 2010 and lead the organisation through significant expansion and growth demonstrating innovation, leadership and vision. Rod’s genuine care and attention to detail has led to the establishment of a strong internal culture of customer service which is achieving the best possible outcome for employers and injured workers.

Deborah Tait

Divisional Manager, Hospitality Claims

“I’m passionate about helping people recover from injuries and collaborating with all stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for all parties involved: a successful rehabilitation and return to work.”

Deborah Tait has a degree in Sports & Exercise Science and has worked in rehabilitation, injury management and personal injury insurance in the UK and Australia including workers compensation, public liability and motor vehicle accident schemes. Deborah joined Hospitality Employers Mutual in 2012 as a Case Manager and progressed through multiple roles including Project Management and Strategy & Technical Manager. In her current role as Divisional Manager of Hospitality Claims she leads a team of 40, many of whom have an allied health background, and all share her passion and commitment to helping others.

Marilyn Jukes

Manager, Hospitality Risk

“Working with employers in a collaborative manner to improve safety for all employees and help prevent future injuries – that’s what’s important to me.”

Marilyn Jukes has an allied health background and worked as a clinician, rehabilitation provider, return to work coordinator and WHS Manager in the hospitality industry before moving into workers compensation insurance concentrating on injury prevention for local government entities throughout NSW. In 2011 Marilyn commenced with Hospitality Employers Mutual, transferring her hospitality knowledge and injury prevention skills to work with hotels, pubs and clubs on their individual risk management and WHS strategies to improve safety throughout the industry.
