Hospitality Employers Mutual Ltd is the insurance company licenced to insure Accommodation Hotels, Pubs, Taverns and Bars through its operating division Hotel Employers Mutual (HEM).

At Hotel Employers Mutual, we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure online experience. The following documents provide more information about the Privacy Policy and Statement in accordance with the Privacy Legislation applicable from March 2014.

COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

HEM collects personally identifiable information, such as names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers when we are fulfilling web user requests for information or a service.

HEM will record an email address if a message is sent via email. We will not use your email address for any other purpose and will not disclose it without your consent.

If a user uses the online forms, for example, to complete an enquiry, referral or ‘lodge a claim’ the information provided online will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list.

Information about your computer hardware and software is automatically collected and may be shared with other websites within the EML Group of websites. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses.

This information is used by HEM for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the site. This information is not specific to an individual and is used for system administration purposes, as well as statistical analysis about how the site is used.
